Pray without ceasing ………………………………………
Psalm 118:24
This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.
As we try to understand what all is happening in our nation and the world today, let’s not forget this wonderful verse from our loving Father. This is the day the Lord has made. Even in the midst of all of the uncertainty, let us rejoice and be glad in what God is going to do.
It was very strange to not have Worship Service together yesterday. I trust you missed it and are anxious to get back into a normal routine of corporate worship together very soon. As the met has discussed the situation and realizing what the president and governor has directed, the decision has been made to not have Sunday morning services for the nest two Sundays (March 29 and April 5). It was a very difficult decision but with the current situation in our nation, it was the wise and prudent decision to be made.
Since we are not going to be meeting together at the “Church”, we are going to try and have a “service that you can view online. This is a new adventure for us and we will give you the information and how to connect to view the service. Pray for the technological things that must come together as well as for the service as well.
During this time of national crisis, continue to remember those on our prayer list and for others that you are aware of that have special needs or physical issues to deal with. Your prayers make an amazing difference and they are greatly appreciated.
Some have called and ask about how they can get their tithes and offerings to the church. We have shared that they can simply mail them to the church at:

There has been some questions about whether or not there is a way to give online. The board is looking into what would be necessary for this to happen and if that becomes a possibility, we will let you know how that can be done if you would like to use that option. Your faithfulness in giving is not only an act of Obedience to the Lord, it is greatly appreciated by the local church here at First United Brethren Church.
If you are in need of any assistance. Please let us know and we will do our best to help in whatever way we possibly can.
Take time during this time of crisis to spend some more time in God’s Word and listen as He ministers to your heart.
